Mission Soldier Support (MSS)

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a beautiful shop on Etsy.com named "Captured Time Books.

If you buy six cards, I will send twelve and so on.

Keishi and Freshwater Pearl necklace

Please excuse the pictures... they will be updated in a couple of days. These shots do not do it justice!
This necklace features keishe and fresh water pears combined with my own hand forged silver rings.
It's beautiful with a white collared shirt or white tank top...very summery!

Just had to share

Two days ago, there was some excitement at my office. I've only seen this in the news, but I got to witness this first hand.
Evidently this poor woman had a diabetic seizure and lost control of her car. She is doing fine, thank goodness. It's just amazing the path her car took !

Take a look at the path her car took - see the two bushes and the tire tracks? The entrance to the shopping plaza is on the left of the poll.


She manages to go across the entire parking lot without hitting pedestrians or cars...just a straight B-line to the jewelry store! She hits the concrete block and the car goes airborne...take a look past the concrete block..the bushes are untouched!



And from this angle, more amazingly...her car manages to go between the wooden posts, supporting the second level of the store!


One day later..got a great chuckle over this!

New Wishbone Earrings

These danglers really catch the light and I always get compliments on them when I wear mine!

Ninja Girl!

My new nickname given to me this afternoon by my boyfriend, just after leaving a deposit on my new 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R!!!!
The color is Candy Plasma Blue, and I just fell in love with it when I saw it at the the Javitz Center Motorcycle show this past December.
I honestly went "just to look" today. However, I soon discovered that there has been such a demand for these beauties, most dealers are all sold out an will not get anymore until the 2009 models are released.
Luckily for me, some person backed out of their deposit placed and this bike and didn't want to wait the two weeks for dealer delivery.

Sorry this is not jewelry related but I just had to share!

Very Busy Weekend

Well, I wasn't able to start that new project I planned on....but still is a secret:):)
This weekend, I re-shot all of my jewelry photos using my new DSLR camera. I'm talking 5oo pictures, easily!
I will be updating my shops with these new photos, in addition some new items.

On another note, attached is a very cool picture of a flower I took ..this is one great camera. It makes anyone look like a professional...

Something new on the designing front :)

I am going to pursue a new project this weekend and it involves adding some color to precious metal clay!
Shhhh...I can't say anymore but I am excited to see how it turns out!
You all will be the first to know, promise!

New Etsy Treasury and a couple new designs

It is so hard to nab a treasury but I persevered this morning. Eyes peeled, barely blinking and ready to pounce on the mysterious fleeting box on the bottom of the window when indeed, an opening is presented!!
My treasury list the many different shades of turquoise, some I never knew existed. I have also featured all Jetteam members in this treasury, so that itself make me feel fantastic.

I wish I would had saved the first one I did earlier this month but didn't know how. Using my PC at home, no problem but I have NO idea how to do it on my Macbook Pro laptop (and this is the one that is with me most of the day).

Leather is my love this week

I am getting back into the swing of things this week. I am also happy that my new camera is cooperating ..it has been such a pleasure to work with.
In any event, I have decided to try a new line of creations, featuring Greek leather.
