I use my computer for nothing but Etsy, blogging, my own personal website, and dropping cards via Entrecard.
I have never, ever had a virus before until tonight. It's the logical explaination.
I don't know whether it's from using the Entrecard Generator or just bogus sites preying on "clickers"
Any thoughts would be fantastic!

I've had a few sites that have triggered something on my anti-virus and firewall programs over the months. Nothing has penetrated my firewall, but it's still a little freaky. Do you have any way to narrow it down to what site you suspect? If you do, you should report it to Entrecard.
What kind of virus is it btw?

I used to have Zone Alarm firewall but had to uninstall it as it not compatible with the cable modem my local cable company provided me. Not even thinking, I forgot to install a replacement firewall.
To be honest, I know there were two virus detected by Adware SE. I was so freaked out, I quarentined them and didn't even look at what they were.
Now, this whole morning I will be searching on the internet for the BEST internet suite security possible, not only for my PC but my MAC laptop too. I hope that isn't infected as well.
No more Entrecard dropping for me until I can figure it out.
I came across one site during my dropping that triggered my anti-virus alarm, but only one. I drop 300 each day, many times on new blogs. I guess I've been fortunate.
Hope you get this resolved! Entrecard is an excellent tool for getting traffic and new readers to your blog, especially those outside of the Etsy community.
Only been with entrecard for a day and one of the sites that I went to their "comments" field for leaving comments set off my Phishing filter on my firewall/antivirus program. Makes me nervous, indeed.

Thanks everyone for posting on what or has /hasn't happened with your Entrecard dropping and "attacks".
This week, I installed AVG Suite and it rid my computer of 11 trojans and 8 adware/spam! I just couldn't believe it!
Gone are the days where I will be without this type of protection, especially if I am going to stay on here and continue dropping!
I am going to give it a shot again tonight and start dropping..so keep your fingers crossed.

We've got major problems from Entrecard. Mom's PC won't even boot up today and she was running AVG, spybot and Ad-aware. We're trying to put Norton on it, but it crashes as soon as we try to install it.
