After reading an article in the November 2008 Art Jewelry Magazine edition, about different techniques in coloring copper, I am on fascinated and on a mission to try to incorporate this into some new designs. Also, in the is magazine edition,
In this edition, there was a wonderful article called "Master of Color"
featuring a wonderful design, Deb Karash that utilizes this technique in some outrageously beautiful pieces!
During the course of my designing, I am drawn to adding color into all of my sterling silver pieces, whether that be stones, beads or resin. All have been fun to work with but, reading these articles has truly inspired me..yet another medium to work with!
I have to admit...I ran out and got what supplies I was lacking, in order to practice with this. It has been, well, shall I say, not as easy I thought it would be. But, all great things, I suppose are NOT easy.
But I am up for the challenge!

Haven't had too much reaction to these yet...I am thinking my new resin line is not hot yet on the list of wanted items??
I think these are fun, and if anything else...I get to keep'em! :):):)

Newly listed this morning...another resin project.
I must say, I really like how these turned out! I combined a couple of colors over the base silver color for a splattered effect.
Still, a learning curve as I could have combined these colors a tad earlier. The base resin cured a bit too long before I had attempted to add the additional colors, but thank goodness, I still achieved the effect was going for ;)
